We discovered a great ice-skating spot across the street on a frozen beaver pond.... the ice is about 6 feet thick and you can see all the cracks, bubbles and tundra frozen in the layers. It makes for very cool viewing opportunities as well as a place to practice skating. Reid is using double bladed ice skates to practice his balance. Amelia is on a really cute pair of tiny hockey skates...she has gotten considerably better each time we skate! it's pretty awesome!!! The kids are pictured with their friends Fiona, Owen and Rachel..
