My camo-clad family on a recent outing on the "hill" across from our house....the snow is melting fast and this will probably be the last time the snow machine runs for the year! Good-bye snow...hello wildflowers and berries! we are ready.....The hats by the way are compliments of Lance's uncle Nelbert..... Reid loves his "Bert" hat! We definately can't loose him with that one on!!!!!

We discovered a great ice-skating spot across the street on a frozen beaver pond.... the ice is about 6 feet thick and you can see all the cracks, bubbles and tundra frozen in the layers. It makes for very cool viewing opportunities as well as a place to practice skating. Reid is using double bladed ice skates to practice his balance. Amelia is on a really cute pair of tiny hockey skates...she has gotten considerably better each time we skate! it's pretty awesome!!! The kids are pictured with their friends Fiona, Owen and Rachel..
