Ahhhhh...ALASKA....home at last! We were happy to make it to this point and really happy to be home. The following photos are of the last portion of our trip!

Amelia celebrated her 5th Birthday in Idaho with her cousins before leaving for Alaska. She was surprised by her "princess" cake.

REid and Amelia both got to sit on "bubba" the 2000 pound bull. I was a bit nervous but bubba was very tolerant!

In Idaho with Uncle Aaron. Reid really enjoyed feeding "his cows"! It was really hard to pull him away from them!

Ok...so this blog post is very lengthy but we just had so many pictures to share. Kauai was incredible and the time that we spent camping was great... We were there 10 days before Jim and Shirley joined us. We feel blessed to have had the experiences we have the past couple of months.....now on to our 3,000 mile journey through Canada and back home to Alaska.....

I know I'm biased but I think Amelia is pretty photogenic and it shows here in this photo. We were on "Glass Beach" which is where people used to dump trash off the cliff before they were told they shouldn't....Hopefully a long time ago! The beach sand is comprised of various sizes of sea glass.... My mind started turning on all the art projects we could do with this and it was legal to take the glass....sooo....I shipped a box home!
