Grampa and Reid putting together Amelia's new baby cradle and changing table

Katrina, Bronson, Michael, Amelia, Tyrel, Austin and Reid

Reid trying out his new chainsaw on my head! I think he enjoyed that a little too much... and the madness of opening presents.....

Making Christmas cookies for Santa (and all his elves!). Amelia, Austin, Michael, Reid and Tyrel.....what a gang in Grandma's kitchen!

The kids with Michael sledding and Lance's mom in the background. Reid is so funny and just loves going down the hill and into the hay field and it's really fast.....I don't have a shot yet of the steepness of the slope but it's a good one! He is really independent and goes down by himself alot. I made the mistake of trying to snowboard down the sledding hill and pulled something pretty serious in my knee....After almost a week..it's getting better. I won't try that again!

A photo with my two favorite boyfriends in Idaho....Uncle Rex and Uncle Nelbert! Uncle Rex grows apples and I am in the process of drying a bunch to bring home and Uncle Nelbert grows walnuts and mails them to me. This year he is sending a bunch home....hopefully I can get all this through Canandian customs.....

Enjoying a home-made sucker at the Williams' Christmas dinner.....

This is actually a well-pump cover that Lance made for his mom last year...she painted it like a barn and the Quail were surrounding it the other morning and it made a nice photo.....

A visit with Santa after the cousins school Christmas program. The kids sure love their new little second cousin...Bronson. this is Troy's grandson...Katrina's little boy....

Ken and Clare were great hosts and Clare went with us into Arches National Park on this beautiful sunny day. Clare also had the patience to do the Junior Ranger program with Amelia throughout the week and Amelia earned her Ranger badge from Arches.

We took another drive out of Moab and saw some beautiful scenery along the Green River but the kids were the happiest when we stopped off at the playground......

A very dirty Desert snowman and his happy construction crew!

This was a nice drive we took just out of Moab.....Unfortunately Moab had an unusual cold spell and about 8 inches of snow....it seems to be following us whever we go but we still had fun!

This is our new truck (a 2006 Dodge MegaCab) and the trailer in "dump" mode! We love the truck and all the room it has in the backseat. The four doors are really nice for getting the kids in and out.....we are pleased with everything considering we had bought it before we saw it in person!

We stayed a week at our friend Ken and Clare's place in Moab Utah. This is the view from their house and photos of the kids on a little walk we did behind their place. The red rock and the cactus' were just some of the new things we liked about this area.

We saw a "billboard" advertising this and decided it was worth driving out of the way to find the restaurant to get a photo of the sign!

More of Colorado's blue sky days! lots of snow...Amelia took the photo of me and Reid...she's quite proud of herself. She's fascinated with the camera these days.

After a nasty drive with lots of traffic on I-70 in Colorado...we decided to take back roads from now on and fore-go the highways.....

Kevin being attacked by the kids and one quick family photo before we leave Colorado and head to Utah....

A fun, sunny, bright blue sky day in Boulder! I'm so proud of my big brother and his family!

Our first stop on this vacation was to see Amelia and Reid's cousin Mallie. She lives in Boulder, Colorado. They really enjoyed Mallie, her cool house that my brother Kevin built and all Mallies wonderful toys! It was a good time had by all...

Happy Halloween! In my mind this was the best Halloween in Alaska yet! The carnival was great at the school. Amelia won the cake walk, Bingo and the costume contest for the "cutest costume"...my jellyfish won the "most original". Then we trick-or-treated with 5 other kids and got lots of candy...Reid caught on really fast and and after the candy was deposited into his pumkin he would say, "now we go to another house!".....and when we finally got home he said..."we eat it now?" When the kids were finally into their candy -coma...I went out to the Longhorn for a fun night of live music and lots of dancing!!! Cantwell Style!!!!!

After a really busy flying season and no chance to go hunting....we FINALLy got to harvest a caribou! The day was beautiful and the kids had fun...we saw lots of animals on the trip....coyote, fox, otter, lots of caribou, bald eagle.....the sleds were the ticket to get the bou back to the truck. We have spent the past few days cutting up meat and getting ready to make jerky!
