Lance stayed home with Reid one day and Amelia and I went up on Reindeer Mtn. and found a caribou antler shed. We had a great time! What a place to live!!!

A friend gave Amelia these snow shoes and she was really getting into the groove of using them....next winter she should be climbin Denali!!! This was Amelia's idea to make snow chairs....Reid wasn't that into it as you can see his expression!!!

We kept hearing coyotes howl out on the river and Amelia kept talking about going hunting with her dad. One night the weather was right and they suited up to go. In less than an hour they were coming into the yard dragging a coyote in the sled. Amelia was quite proud to have been there for the action. They called it in with a rabbit call and she got to see two coyotes running straight in their direction!!!! She wants me to make her a coat but I think we'll settle for a ruff around the hood of her winter parka!!!
